Originally a Gothic fortress, Raduň Chateau transformed over the centuries into an elegant residence. In the sixteenth century, it acquired its Renaissance appearance, reflecting the taste and importance of its owners of the era. Its current Empire style look is the result of an extensive reconstruction from the early nineteenth century, initiated by Count Jan de Matha Josef Antonín Larisch-Mönnich. This architectural gem is now protected as a cultural monument and is managed by the National Heritage Institute. Visitors have a unique opportunity to explore its interiors and admire the historical layers that tell the story of this place.
