High above the picturesque village of Klentnice, in the heart of the Pavlov Hills, majestically rise the ruins of the Gothic Orphan's Castle. Its roots date back to the 13th century, when the powerful Wehingen family had it built to guard a strategic area. Over the centuries, significant noble families, such as the Liechtensteins and the Dietrichsteins, succeeded one another there, leaving their mark within its walls. Unfortunately, during the 16th century, the castle gradually fell into disrepair and transformed into the romantic ruin we know today. Today, this monument, also known as Rose Castle, has been protected since 1964 and offers visitors not only a glimpse into the past but also magnificent views of the surrounding landscape.
