Poděbrady Chateau

This monumental structure, which rises above the river, arose from successive reconstructions of the original medieval castle founded by King Přemysl Otakar the Second. Today, it represents the main landmark of the entire spa town and attracts visitors with its historical atmosphere. For its exceptional value, the entire complex is inscribed on the list of national cultural monuments of the Czech Republic.
