This magnificent aristocratic palace was built by Count Jan Rudolf Chotek as his representative residence. The building represents the most significant and architecturally purest example of the Empire style in our country. The entire chateau complex, which enjoys the status of a national cultural monument, is located near Kutná Hora in the municipal area of Svatý Mikuláš. Currently, it houses one of the branches of the National Museum of Agriculture, which offers visitors thematic exhibitions.
