Lemberk Castle, nestled in the picturesque landscape of the Lusatian Mountains, is a gem of early Baroque architecture with a rich history dating back to the 13th century. Originally a Gothic castle called Löwenberg, it was founded by Havel of Lemberk, the husband of Saint Zdislava, who is inherently connected with this place and whose memory is commemorated in Saint Zdislava's Room. Over the centuries, the castle underwent Renaissance and Baroque reconstructions, which gave it its present appearance. Visitors can admire the unique Fable Hall with its coffered ceiling, the Castle Chapel of the Descent of the Holy Spirit, the black kitchen, and the Clam-Gallas apartment. The surroundings of the castle offer Saint Zdislava's Spring and are part of the Lembersko landscape monument zone. Several famous Czech fairy tales and films were also shot at the castle.
