This impressive South Bohemian monument proudly rises on a rocky spur above the Stropnice River, in the southwestern part of the town of the same name. Originally a medieval castle, it transformed over the centuries into a chateau residence, which gives it a unique architectural character. Due to its extraordinary historical value, the complex was listed among national cultural monuments.
