Telč Castle

This significant heritage complex, managed by the National Heritage Institute under the direction of castellan Bohumil Norek, represents one of the most valuable architectural gems in our country. It is located right in the city center on Zachariáš of Hradec Square, where it is surrounded on two sides by the calm waters of the Ulický and Štěpnický Ponds. Thanks to its extraordinary historical significance, it has gained the status of a national cultural monument. The uniqueness of the entire complex is further confirmed by its inscription on the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage List, where it has been featured since the 1990s. Visitors can admire its unique architecture, sensitively set into the picturesque landscape around the Telč Stream, during their tours.
