Zuvačov Castle was founded in the second half of the thirteenth century, likely as a royal stronghold in eastern Moravia. During the fourteenth century, it became part of the Světlov dominion, and its importance gradually declined. Written sources from 1448 already refer to it as a 'fortified site,' and in the first half of the fifteenth century, likely due to the Hussite Wars, the castle was completely abandoned and demolished. Today, visitors can only see small fragments of masonry, especially the remains of a mighty round tower, and distinctive terrain features, such as wide moats and ramparts, which bear witness to its former grandeur. The site is ideal for a peaceful walk in nature and offers a unique atmosphere of ancient history. The ruins are located on Hrádek Hill and are protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
