This extensive castle complex is hidden in the forests near the eponymous village in the Zlín Region. Although it is now a ruin, the place is constantly brought to life by enthusiasts from the Association of Friends of Lukov Castle and the Brontosaurus Movement. Visitors here can admire the gradually rescued masonry and discover traces of a rich past, thanks to which the site has been listed among our cultural monuments since the 1960s. A walk among the preserved ramparts offers a unique connection between history and the surrounding nature. Lukov is an ideal destination for those who want to see firsthand how a decaying monument can be brought back to life with love and care.
